At Pack/Pharma Expo Las Vegas September 28-30, DIR Technologies, a provider of quality and process control solutions for pharmaceutical primary packaging, will debut a simplified version of its Induction Integrity Verification System (I2VS) for bottles, which employs thermal imaging for induction integrity assurance. The new I²VS Lite will be introduced at DIR Technologies’ show booth, N-806.

I²VS Lite utilises the same dynamic thermal imaging technology as the original I²VS and, in terms of both machines’ primary purpose of induction seal inspection and analysis, is identical to its predecessor. The systems provide induction sealing integrity analysis for 100 per cent of bottles without packaging line slowdown by performing inspection through the closed cap, without physical contact in an entirely passive, non–destructive fashion.
