SCDM Call for Entries: CDM Innovations

The Society for Clinical Data Management (SCDM) is accepting entries for the 2009 Data Driven Innovation Award, recognizing the best new technology or developments in clinical data management.

Now in its third year, the award seeks to honor vendor/sponsor relationships that resulted in products or services that advance the CDM industry.

The contest is open to all exhibiting and sponsoring companies at the 2009 SCDM Annual Conference. Submissions must be received by July 24. Only projects started since September 25, 2008, are eligible.

An online application form is available in the Annual Conference section of the SCDM Web site.

Entries will be judged by a panel of SCDM Certified Clinical Data Managers (CCDMs) on the project’s impact, innovation and level of sponsor/vendor collaboration.

The top five entrants will be asked to demonstrate their project for the judges October 4 or 5 during the SCDM Annual Conference in Seattle. Winners will be announced on October 5 during a special reception at the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
