Proteomics International Receives ISO Accreditation

Proteomics International has been awarded accreditation under ISO 17025 by Australia’s accreditation agency, National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA). This accreditation is the first time globally that a proteomics service laboratory has achieved this status, according to the company.

The accreditation for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standard extends beyond the boundaries of single protein analysis to the mapping and comparison of whole systems, peptide sequencing of unknown proteins, and biomarker detection.

The standard is directly related to the laboratory's ability to generate technically valid results – the entirety of premises, staff and management’s capacity to continually meet high standards across the board.
