Procuro Introduces Cold Chain Compliance Management in Asia

The PIMM from Procuro, US, is a software-based logistics system for cold chain compliance management. It allows companies to manage their operational resources through the look and feel of an instant messaging buddy group.

The product is sold as a service, which allows collaborative data collection and information sharing among suppliers, carriers, distributors and end users without the need for upfront investment.

PIMM logtags are attached to all shipments that require cold chain compliance monitoring. USB cradles can be attached to any internet enabled PCs. The tags are docked once before attaching to the shipments and once more after each shipment arrives at the final destination.

Once docked, each tag is automatically associated with the corresponding product type, shipment, carrier, trailer, driver, customer and distribution centre, and all data is kept for at least seven years. Grading, compliance and trend reports are generated automatically.

In addition, the system also interfaces with various hardware to extend its reach to fleet, facilities, energy and storefront management.
