PharmChina: 100,000 Attendees Expected

The 57th PharmChina, deemed the largest pharmaceutical fair in China, will be held from April 19 to 21, 2007, in the Dalian World Expo Center (Dalian Xinghai Square). The 60,000-sqm exhibition will focus on pharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and relevant service supply to companies inthe booming market.

The PharmChina Summit Forum features a high-level conference that covers hot topics related to the latest developments and trends in the global health and pharmaceutical industry through a series of discussions and interesting sessions. Speakers from the pharmaceutical industry and the government will discuss and share with delegates presentations on issues including the latest pharmaceutical development, laws and regulations of drug administration, and pharmaceuticalmarket trends.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend the show and will include representatives from manufacturers, distributors, R&D houses, consultancy companies, andend-users of the pharmaceutical industry.

The approximately 2,300 companies expected to exhibit will be comprised of leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical distributors, and competitive pharmaceutical service suppliers.

Show organizer Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions says products and services to be showcased will include chemicals, Chinese-patented medicines, biopharmaceuticals, OTC medicines, healthcare products, and pharmaceutical technologies and services.

The show is supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, People's Government of Liaoning Municipality, and China Pharmaceutical Industry Association. PA
