NMIMS: New programs to cope with growth

As India’s pharmaceuticals industries grow at international levels, there is a need for qualified human resources in the area of drug regulatory activities, pharma marketing, analytical, quality control, pharm microbiology and bioinformatics.

The School of Pharmace & Technology Management of NMIMS University, Mumbai has thus launched one year full time Diploma programs in drug regulatory affairs (PGDRA), P G Diploma in pharmaceuticals marketing(PGDPM) and two years full time M.Sc. program in applied pharm analysis / applied pharm bioinformatics and applied pharm microbiology.

Intake capacity is at about 20 students per specialization.

The courses will be based on need based practice and interaction with pharma industries/regulatory agencies.

It will train the students to address the HR requirement of pharma industries.
