The new interlocked vial/insert offers a 100 and 300ïL insert that is permanently interlocked into a variety of vial designs. Both vial and insert are fused together to eliminate insert movement that may cause needle breakage. The flange of the insert also helps to prevent needle misguidance and needle breakage. The interlocked design is available in the following neck finishes: 9mm radiosurgical assisted myringotomy (RAM), standard and wide mouth screw thread, crimp style or Snap Ring, and the patented Snap Seal finish. They are sold in a pack of 100, consisting of four individually shrink-wrapped trays of 25 pieces. Available in both clear and amber, the Interlocked vials can be used in combination with all standard closures, snap top caps, Poly Crimp Seals and aluminium seals. J.G.
