Mouse-Monoclonal Isotyping Kits

AMSBio has announced the Iso-Gold Rapid Mouse Monoclonal isotyping kits. The rapid-format isotyping kit reduces the labor of the traditional Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) protocol from a day-and-a-half procedure to a five-minute assay.

Determining the class and subclass of a monoclonal antibody is valuable in selecting a suitable immunoglobulin purification method. The kit is a rapid lateral flow assay that can be run on both tissue culture supernatant as well as mouse ascites fluid.

In a single step, the diluted antibody sample is simply added into the loading well of the cassette. In less than five minutes, the kit will provide a color readout of the mouse monoclonal antibody isotope (IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgA or IgM). The test is also available with kappa and lambda light chains determination.
