Measuring Human Interferon-Beta Levels

The VeriKine-HS Human Interferon-Beta Serum ELISA kit from PBL InterferonSource is used for the measurement of human Interferon-Beta (IFN-β) levels in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant samples.
IFN-β is known as a regulated, early-response cytokine primarily responsible for controlling viral infection. The aberrant expression of IFN-β may also be associated with inflammation and autoimmunity. VeriKine-HS is designed to provide IFN researchers the ability to accurately and reproducibly measure the level of IFN-β in human serum or plasma samples.
The kit can determine IFN-β levels as low as 0.5 IU/ml. It is a sensitive assay that is not substantially affected by the presence of sample contaminants.
