Kendle Opens Offices in Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines

Kendle, a global clinical research organization, has opened offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Bangkok, Thailand; and Manila, Philippines. These operations provide the company’s customers with access to additional patient populations.

The company’s expansion in Asia Pacific reflects the growing importance of the region to the global clinical research market.

Research by the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development indicates that within the next three years, as much as 65 percent of all US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-regulated clinical trials will be conducted outside the US. A significant number of these studies are moving to Asia.
