ISPE: PQLI Events in India and Japan
The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) has announced that its India and Japan affiliates will be headlining upcoming conferences with the Product Quality Lifecycle Implementation (PQLI) initiative in April.
Now in its second year, the initiative is spearheading approaches to complement and support the role of the ICH IWG (International Conference on Harmonization Implementation Working Group) in the implementation of Q8 (R1) (Pharmaceutical Development), Q9 (Quality Risk Assessment), and Q10 (Pharmaceutical Quality System). The initiative helps the pharmaceutical industry to realize and implement the ICH quality vision. It does this by supporting and complementing selected implementation topics with practical case study examples, training, extending the understanding to global audiences, and the preparation of baseline and similar technical guides.
PQLI also supports further debates and discussion through papers, conference presentations, and workshops involving both industry professionals and regulators.
The ISPE India Conference: PQLI and Quality Management Systems, will be held on April 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai in India. Parallel tracks on PQLI and quality management are the focus for the event, and members of the US FDA Beverly Corey and Tara Gooen will be speaking at this conference via webcast.
