InVivo and Cevec Sign Agreement for Production of Recombinant Proteins

Cevec Pharmaceuticals and the contract manufacturer InVivo BioTech Services have announced the signing of a strategic license agreement.

This license enables the latter to offer its customers the production of their diagnostic ad preclinical grade material, including human glycosylation patterns, using the CAP-T transient expression system.

CAP-T Technology is based on CAP cells, the stable cell line from the former. The non-tumor origin cells have high expression rates of human proteins and grow in serum-free suspension culture. Post-translational modifications are human-like. Process times are reduced by means of large-scale transient transfection.
