GE Healthcare Launches Facility Validation Services

GE Healthcare has launched its Facility Validation Services, a global service that will provide customers with international regulatory compliance for their facilities and manufacturing systems.

Applicable to any new or existing facility, the service uses a modular validation platform to work with customers as they plan and design their facilities and manufacturing processes to the required regulatory standards. These services leverage regulatory trends and guidance, along with unique processes and systems and has the potential to speed up product time-to-market.

The company will utilize operational excellence methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to provide an integrated global service. Victor Bornsztejn, global growth director, states, “We aim to help eliminate the current disconnection between drug/process development and facility validation.”
