GE Healthcare Biacore Technology Pioneers Win Award

GE Healthcare has announced that Dr Magnus Malmqvist, Inger Rönnberg and Robert Karlsson have been selected to receive the SBS PolyPops Award. The award comes in recognition of the development of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for high-throughput protein interaction analysis.

Label-free interaction analysis is of increasing importance for scientists in academia, pharma, biotech and diagnostics. Biacore systems generate data on the interactions between proteins and other molecules, including small molecule drug candidates.
