Agilent: 1260 Infinity LC offers rapid resolution power

Agilent Technologies introduces the 1200 Infinity Series for analytical HPLC and UHPLC. The series includes 1220 Infinity LC, 1260 Infinity LC and 1290 Infinity LC.

The 1260 Infinity LC offers more rapid resolution power, pushing RRLC performance to new limits. The power range of the 1260 Infinity Isocratic and Quaternary Pump of 600 bar at 5 mL/min and up to 10 mL/min at lower pressure easily handles 3.0 and 4.6 mm id columns with sub-2-micron or superficially porous particles used in new Poroshell columns. The 1260 Infinity Binary LC uses highpressure solvent mixing for gradient accuracy at 600 bar and up to 5 mL/min and allows lower delay volumes, making it well suited for narrow bore columns.

Further, the 1260 Infinity Diode Array Detector increases UV sensitivity by 10-fold allowing more accurate peak detection and integration. Full HPLC and RRLC compatibility enables unchanged execution of existing methods while being prepared for a seamless transfer to modern columns technologies whenever required. The 1260 Infinity Quaternary LC is also available as a 100 percent bio-inert version with 1-14 pH-range.
