Actavis: First to Market Drug in UK, Holland
Actavis Group has announced the launch of Fluvastatin SR in the UK and the Netherlands. It is first to market the drug in both countries, according to the company.
The tablets are the generic equivalent of Novartis' Luvinsta SR / Lescol XL and are available in 80mg tablets in both markets. The drug is used to treat high cholesterol levels in the blood.
