Through a partnership with the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, the Society for Clinical Data Management's (SCDM) Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) will be translated to Japanese and be published by the Center for Pharmaceutical Publication of Tokyo (CPhP).

The GCDMP contains 23 chapters on topics including data quality, database validation, metrics and electronic data capture. It serves as a primary resource for the Certified Clinical Data Manager exam.

The translation furthers SCDM's efforts to establish worldwide standards for clinical data management.
