The Matcon Laboratory Blender System is designed to blend a range of powders in small IBCs (intermediate bulk containers). The geometry of the IBC - blending speed and time - is similar to that of larger production IBCs. This stand-alone, floor mounted Blender incorporates a single rotating cantilever shaft onto which may be placed a series of interchangeable IBCs. The range of IBC sizes vary from 2 liters to 300-liter capacities. It can also be used as a production machine or for R&D laboratory testing prior to scaling up to a full production machine. The system includes Blender & Controls, IBCs, Support Frames and, if necessary, an IBC Handler. A standard blender is available in mild steel and stainless steel construction.
